| The Ancient Burial Island - Eilean Munda - sits in Loch Leven, just opposite the Slate Quarry. It is the burial place of the local Clan Chiefs, including the MacDonalds. |

The Glencoe mountains are just 6 miles (9 km) away offering walking, climbing & skiing, whilst there are plenty of low level walks nearby. Trout fishing and sea fishing are on the doorstep. |
